What we do
Oil and oil filter change
We select oil to your engine's manufacturer specification, not whatever is on the shelf. The specification is not marketing: in a modern engine the wrong oil destroys hydraulic lifters, the turbo and the particulate filter.
Filters
Air, cabin and fuel filters. The cabin filter is replaced least often and quite wrongly so — a blocked one means fogged windows, a weak heater, and whatever you are breathing in traffic.
Service fluids
Brake, coolant, power steering and washer fluid. Brake fluid is hygroscopic: it absorbs water from the air and loses boiling point over time regardless of mileage, which is why it is changed on a schedule rather than by kilometres.
Gearbox oil change
Automatic and manual gearboxes. Transmission oil is often skipped entirely, yet its condition decides whether the gearbox lasts as long as the car does.
An inspection while you are here, at no extra charge
Pad and disc thickness, play in the suspension, the state of boots and driveshafts, signs of leaks, belts and lights. We give you the result as a prioritised list: what is urgent and what can safely wait.

Cost and time
Price
We keep our prices low — an oil change in Lublin is one of the cheapest jobs we do. The figure depends on the scope and on which oil and filters go in. You can bring your own oil or leave the choice to us. We quote before we start.
Time
An oil and filter change is usually an hour's work. A full service with filters and fluids takes longer but the car is normally back with you the same day. If you bring your own oil and filters, it is quicker still.
6-month warranty
Every repair comes with a 6-month warranty. If the fault returns through our fault, we fix it without charging for labour again.

- How often should engine oil be changed?
- The manufacturer's recommendation for your specific engine is the starting point, but it assumes ideal conditions. With city driving — short trips, traffic, many cold starts — oil ages faster than the mileage suggests and the interval is worth shortening. Even with low mileage, oil is changed once a year, because it oxidises with time as well.
- Can I bring my own oil and filters?
- Yes. Many workshops will not accept that; we do. What is more, with your own parts the job goes faster, because we are not waiting on a delivery.
- Do you reset the service indicator on the dashboard?
- Yes, we reset the service counter once the change is done.
- Do you change gearbox oil?
- Yes, in both automatic and manual gearboxes.
- What happens if I miss an oil change?
- Used oil loses its lubricating properties and carries heat away less well. Wear increases, oil galleries clog, and the hydraulic lifters and turbo suffer. There are usually no symptoms at all until something fails — that is exactly the risk.
- How often should brake fluid be changed?
- Usually every two years regardless of mileage. The fluid absorbs moisture from the air, its boiling point drops, and under heavy braking the pedal can go to the floor.
- Do I need a separate visit to have the brakes checked?
- No. We look at the brakes and suspension during the service — the car is on the lift anyway, so there is no reason to come back a second time.
